Interstate Centre II is a 505-acre master planned industrial park positioned to leverage the economic power of the Savannah port – now the second largest container port on the U. S. East Coast – and the highly attractive economic benefit of doing business in Bryan County.
A joint development between TPA Realty Services and the Bryan County Development Authority, Interstate Centre II offers ample land to accommodate large industries interested in locating distribution centers near Savannah’s seaport terminals.
Due to its location within a “Military Zone”, Interstate Centre is currently the only Industrial Park in the Savannah Metropolitan Area that receives a Tier 1 designation from The Georgia Department of Community Affairs 2010 Job Tax Credit Program. The program provides statewide job tax credits against state income tax liability to encourage growth and development within the state.
Parks with Tier One status give businesses a $3,500 tax credit per job when at least 2 new net jobs are created and maintained. The credits can be used to offset up to 100% of state income tax liability. In addition to Tier One Status, Interstate Centre is a “magnet” site for the Savannah Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ #104). With this status, current and future tenants are able to receive fast track status as they apply for FTZ status at a reduced cost.
Designed to facilitate sophisticated supply-chain logistics, and able to accommodate heavy trailer storage, deep truck courts, and ease of access to the Interstate System and the world’s shipping lanes. The park also will be able to accommodate a 2+ million square foot cross-dock facility.
